Perimenopause Home Remedies: Get Relief By Targeting The Specific Symptoms
As you already know (based on your personal experience perhaps), there are dozens of different symptoms we display whilst in the perimenopause stage. Although the majority of them can be reduced or eliminated by restoring the balance of the estrogen and progesterone levels in your body, there are other perimenopause home remedies you may use in combination with this general cure to make treatment even more effective.
In today’s articles, we’re going to take a quick glance at some of the foods that’ll help you build your estrogen levels first. Once that’s done with, we’ll take a look at some treatments that were designed to treat specific symptoms. If you’re ready to know what these cures are, then feel free to check them out at the paragraphs below.
To increase the levels of estrogen, you need to eat more food that’s rich in estrogenic substances, such as the following: soybeans, flaxseeds, cucumbers, corn, cabbage, beets, olives, garlic and green beans. Not only are these excellent sources of natural estrogenic substances, but they also contain other essential nutrients that can easily boost your overall health.
One problem we woman have to put up with is vaginal dryness. This issue can be addressed by a number of different perimenopausal home remedies, but one in particular that has been proven to be effective is a combination of the following: two grams of vitamin C, 10 mg of beta-carotene, and 50 mcg of selenium. Take this helpful combo every day.
If the simple remedy above doesn’t work too well for you, and you’d like me to give you another cure, then start gathering the following ingredients: two drops of geranium essential oil, an ounce of almond oil and a capsule of 1000 IU of vitamin E. After gathering all the constituents, blend them together in a container. Apply the lotion like material inside and outside of your vagina to relieve dryness.
Hot flashes can be reduced by drinking 8 to 10 glasses of distilled water on a daily basis. Evening primerose oil is also effective, especially if you take 800 mg of it three times a day.
If the above solution does work well for alleviating hot flashes, then perhaps a combination of the following tinctures may prove to be useful: a teaspoon of chaste tree, ginseng root, licorice root, don quai, sarsaparilla and 2 teaspoons of cohosh root. Place all these ingredients into a container, mix together, and then take 3 drops of the concoction once a day.
There are many other perimenopause home remedies for you to try. The ones listed here are just some of the most popular and effective ones around.
