Perimenopause Natural Remedies: Why Raspberry Leaf Tea Works

You don’t have to be very old before you start getting pestered by the symptoms of perimenopause. Considering that the disorder can strike as early as thirty, women that haven’t reached this stage yet should be doing proper research as to what these signs are, and the best way to handle them. Also, since it’s a natural phase of life, using natural cures for treatment would be a logical solution.

There’s a whole bunch of perimenopause natural remedies around, plenty of which have been proven to be effective. Today, we’re going to focus on raspberry leaf tea, and how it can help you fight the signs of the dreaded disorder. So first off, amino acids, fragarine and tannins can be found in raspberry leaves. These components act as a uterine stimulant and deal with digestion issues as well.

Raspberry leaf tea is considered one of the best perimenopause natural remedies today because of its vitamin C, thiamin, niacin and mineral content. Vitamin C doesn’t just boost your immune system and eliminate free radicals, but it also aids the adrenal glands function at their peak, and lower the frequency plus intensity of many symptoms experienced by women during the perimenopausal stage. Thiamin strengthens your nervous system, in turn leading to fewer attacks from anxiety and depression. On the other hand, niacin has been shown to be helpful for dealing with headaches.

As for the mineral content of the tea, we have selenium, magnesium, calcium, and molybdenum. The last on the list here can relieve its users from hot flashes and prevent anemia through regular consumption.

The estrogen levels inside one’s body tend to drop during the transition towards menopause, which makes you more prone to developing osteoporosis. Luckily, the calcium content found in raspberry tea should be able to keep that from happening.

Having said all of that, how do we go about preparing a cup of this kind of tea for ourselves? Easy – all you have to do is take a tablespoon of dried or fresh leaves of raspberry, and place it into a cup of hot water. Let them sit there for roughly 15 minutes. When that’s done with, strain the leaves plus other particles using a tea strainer, and drink.

There are of course plenty of other perimenopause natural remedies out there for you to try. However, before trying of any them, it’s best you consult a doctor first, just to be extra sure that it works well for you.
