Top 6 Most Common Perimenopause Symptoms
Perimenopause has a long and slightly boring explanation to it, so I’m going to give you the shorter version instead. First of all, the term is used to describe that transitional phase in life where a woman moves onto the menopausal stage.
The condition can begin to develop during a woman’s early 30’s, and is expected to last anywhere from two to ten years. This transitional period is natural, so there’s really nothing much to worry about here.
However, the severities of perimenopause symptoms vary from person to person. Some signs of the condition may be present in one person, but absent in another.
With that said, here are the top 6 most common signs that you have perimenopause, and the 1st one on our list is sudden changes in your mood. Abrupt variations in the levels of hormones can put anyone in different moods. Females may start feeling depressed, irritable, apprehensive and more as they slowly shift towards the menopausal stage.
2nd on our list of perimenopause symptoms is bladder problems. This can make you more vulnerable to acquiring urinary tract infections, and also create difficulty when it comes to restraining your urine from freely flowing.
The 3rd sign is vaginal problems – you may notice that having sexual intercourse with your partner suddenly becomes more painful than usual. This is because of the loss of vaginal lubrication and elasticity.
4th item on our list of perimenopuase symptoms is hot flashes, which is one of the most usual indicators of the natural disorder. Studies have shown that roughly 80 percent of all women going through the perimenopausal phase will suffer from sudden sensations of heat at some point.
The 5th indicator is irregularities with your periods. Here, you’ll notice changes in intervals between your menstrual flows, as well as the amounts of discharge. The amounts of excretion can be anywhere from scarce to abundant. If the latter is your case, then you may eventually begin to have anemia related complications.
6th and last on our list of the most common perimenopause symptoms is an increase in the tenderness of your breasts. Women may also experience pains in their breasts during periods, while others feel the pain for most of the time throughout the entire phase.
The signs listed here are just 6 of the most typical indicators of perimenopause. Always remember that they are perfectly normal, and the majority of all females will be going through more or less the same transitional phase.
